This cube is 480 cards meant for 8 players to play Tiny Leaders with, roughly divided on these "colors" you magic players like so much. That means it's a 4 pack draft, left, right, left, right. Obviously I gave blue the best cards and stupid green got the worst. The multi color cards are totally unbalanced, so draft The Rock, since I totally balanced that 199%, don't worry about it. You make a 50 card deck including your commander, you get access to unlimited basic lands, including wastes. Games are either multiplayer or 1v1, but always with 30 life. Unlike normal commander, there are no deck building restrictions, but you are only ever able to create mana that is either colorless or in the color identity of your commander. For example, this means that any deck may play Scrapheap Scrounger, but only one that includes black in its color identity will ever be able to activate its ability. At the beginning of the game, 8 out of 10 cats, I mean 3 color commanders will be distributed however the fuck I feel like. Probably randomly, or through a draft system. I was thinking of doing it like this: cut one card randomly, then cut one random card that shares no colors with it (that way there's no chance of accidentally banning 2 commanders that like share 2 colors or something and totally dicking those colors). Or, for draft, player 7 bans one commander, player 8 bans a second commander, then player 1 drafts a commander, player 2 drafts a commander, so on. I fear that like Alesha and Yasova are just going to eat shit every draft if you do it that way, though, since they're insanely powerful and require almost no effort to build. The 10 commanders are: Merieke Ri Berit Marath, Will of the Wild Tetsuo Umezawa Jenara, Asura of War Adun Oakenshield Alesha, Who Smiles at Death Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest Anafenza, the Foremost Leovold, Emissary of Trest Yasova Dragonclaw Using this commander is entirely optional. It just gives you a direction for color drafting, or very rarely a card for your main deck if you draft a partner setup that allows it. My secret sauce: At some point in the cube, someone is going to draft Lore Seeker at which point they're going to add "the pack(tm)" (technically Lore Seeker is a may ability, don't be a fucking dick). "The pack(tm)" is a spicy meatball that makes Lore Seeker a very viable pick1 (mostly just because if you pass it, you're probably getting last pick on "the pack(tm)". "The pack(tm)" contains the following: Advantageous Proclamation Backup Plan Power Play Sentinel Dispatch Unexpected Potential Geist of Saint Traft Sygg, River Cutthroat Grenzo, Dungeon Warden Radha, Heir to Keld Rhys the Redeemed Jori En, Ruin Diver Athreos, God of Passage Skullbriar, the Walking Grave Akiri, Line-Slinger Edric, Spymaster of Trest That's pretty much how that goes. The pack goes into the draft rotation; you get both the Lore Seeker and the first pick, then things go as normal. Do not pause drafting to draft "the pack(tm)". You insert it into the rotation between the pack you opened Lore Seeker in, and the pack that would have come after it. That means that the player to your right will have drafted several cards before he gets his card from "the pack(tm)". This is relevant, e.g. the player across from you will have 4 or so more cards of information before he chooses from "the pack(tm)". I guess you can do it however you want, but I would be consistent about how you do it, since information matters. Also yes, you can have both a commander and a conspiracy. Suggestions welcome.
